River levels are rising at the Great Somerford river gauge on the River Avon in response to recent overnight heavy showers with 20-30mm fallen over the last 24 hours. Further heavy rain is expected today, Thursday the 28th March 2024 and Friday.
Consequently, flooding of property is possible on Thursday the 28 March 2024 November through to late Friday the 29th March 2024. We expect flooding to occur at the Reybridge and Seagry area.
Refer to Local Authority websites for any road closures. Properties with flood protection measures we advise these are installed now. Avoid drying through deep water as this poses a significant danger to life. We are closely monitoring the situation.
