Flood Alert

River levels are forecast to rise at the Newnham Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible between 10 pm tonight and 1 am tomorrow, 18/12/18. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the Ledyche Brook and River Rea. Locations that may be affected include Cleobury Mortimer, Neen Sollars and Caynham. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 9 am on 19/12/18, or as the situation changes.
