The unsettled weather which brought strong winds and elevated tide levels along the south coast has now cleared the area. This morning’s tide at Littlehampton (02:00 16/04/2025) came in 8 cm under forecast. Wind, wave and tide levels are now reducing. Over the next week, tide levels will be significantly lower than today. We are not expecting further impacts as a result. We continue to monitor the forecast and will re-issue this Flood Alert if the risk of flooding increases.
