Property flooding is not currently expected.
River levels are high but falling slowly on the River Windrush. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue, especially in areas close to the river around Bourton on the Water and Newbridge, near the River Thames.
The weather forecast for today is mostly dry, however rain is forecast for this evening and with further rain possible later in the week. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days and to remain responsive to further rainfall.
Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
This message will be updated Thursday morning, 20/02/25, or as the situation changes.
