Local flooding from rivers is possible but not expected across parts of England and Wales from Thursday. Land, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption.

Minor impacts from river flooding are possible but not expected across many areas of England and Wales from Thursday onwards, including over the weekend. Fast responding and urbanised catchments are most at risk if they experience locally heavy downpours.

Coastal

The coastal/tidal flood risk is VERY LOW for the next five days.

Surface

The surface water flood risk is VERY LOW for the next five days.

Minor impacts from surface water flooding are possible on Friday (see Specific Areas of Concern Map 1) and possible but not expected across many areas of England and Wales on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Locally heavy downpours could overwhelm urban drainage systems.

Groundwater

The groundwater flood risk is VERY LOW for the next five days.
