Heavy rain is predicted from 8pm on Wednesday and will cause river levels to rise, particularly on the Barnstaple Yeo We are not expecting any property flooding but low lying land and roads may be affected. There is a risk of standing water due to leaf debris blocking drains. We are constantly monitoring river levels. This message will be updated on Thursday morning or earlier if the situation changes.
