This alert remains in force as river levels are still high after heavy rainfall on Wednesday in the Yorkshire Dales. The current level at Maunby is 4.2m, has peaked, and is falling. The current level at Kirby Wiske is 2.7m, has peaked, and is now falling. The current level at Crakehill is 4.35m and will remain high but not rise further on Friday. No significant further rainfall is expected, but we will continue to monitor the situation and will update this message if forecasts change.
