Minor Watercourses of South Forty Foot Drain

Warning no longer in force

The risk of flooding from the South Forty Foot Drain and tributaries has now reduced as river levels have receded. Any further rainfall over the next few days is not expected to raise river levels. However, there may be standing water in low lying areas for several more days. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. We are constantly monitoring river levels, and have staff in the field checking for blockages and clearing weedscreens. This message will be updated as the situation changes."
