River levels remain high on the Little Stour and Nailbourne. Flooding is expected to continue to affect low lying land and roads along the Nailbourne around Elham, Barham, Bridge and Bekesbourne, and on the Little Stour around Littlebourne and Wickhambreux. Please avoid driving or walking through floodwater.
As of today, Thursday 25th April 2024, the weather forecast is for scattered rain showers today and tomorrow. More rainfall is forecast for the weekend however will cause no fresh impact. We are actively monitoring the situation, liaising with partners, and our staff are maintaining and clearing key structures. The Littlebourne Flood Relief channel is operating.
