Swansea Bay and the Gower coast

Flood Alert

High tides are predicted over the weekend, with the worst conditions expected to occur on Saturday morning when large waves are predicted along with a large storm surge. Winds are forecast to increase to Force 8 from a South Westerly direction overnight on Friday and veer Westerly and remain strong throughout Saturday. Offshore waves are expected to increase overnight Friday and remain very large throughout Saturday. Be careful on beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths, roads and low lying land, where coastal flooding is possible. Be careful as sea spray and waves could be dangerous and could contain debris.
