This Flood Alert has been removed. River levels have now fallen below the level expected to cause flooding. There is no longer a threat of flooding, though standing water and debris may still remain. Recent flooding in the area was caused by an extremely heavy downpour. Our staff have verified information from CCTV that debris screens and the watercourse remained unblocked throughout the morning. No further rainfall is forecast, however there is a small possibility of heavy showers this afternoon. We will continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking the Pent Stream.
