Flood Alert

Following the heavy rainfall today, Tuesday 18th December, river levels are high. The weather forecast is improving but river levels are expected to remain high this evening and overnight with scattered showers forecast tomorrow. The catchment is already wet and this may result in flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river. We have staff in the area checking for and clearing blockages.
