Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels may lead to flooding.
River levels are high on the Ginge Brook. Flooding of low lying land and roads remains possible today, 13 March 2026, including in the Steventon area. The forecast is for a windy day with showers, some of which could be heavy. Saturday is forecast to be mostly dry with a chance of showers. River levels have risen in response to the overnight rainfall but we expect levels to stabilise and fall gradually over the coming days. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.
This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 14 March 2026, or as the situation changes.
