River Levels

Site Sponsorship Opportunities

We now have the opportunity for you to sign up as a site sponsor for a very reasonable monthly subscription.

Head over to Buy Me a Coffee and subscribe now!

This website is entirely free to use, and the running costs are supported by advertising. When I originally set it up, I didn't expect it to become as popular as it has been.

Success comes with its own challenges, though, one of which is increased costs. We do use adverts provided by Google Adsense to help offset those costs, but it's not a particularly reliable source of income. It's also not a particularly good fit for a website like this one, which has a very specific audience.

So what I want to do is move away from Google as my main source of advertising revenue. I also want to give more opportunities to UK based organisations.

So, if you have a business which operates in a sector relevent to this website, such as flood protection or water based leisure services, then this could be for you.

Opportunities

We have two options available. Firstly, the simple way is to sign up as a Commercial Supporter via Buy Me a Coffee, in exactly the same way that you would for a personal subscription. A benefit of that is that you will get advert-free viewing of the site just like any other supporter, as well as getting your business listed as a site sponsor and your logo or banner displayed on the river level pages.

Alternatively, if you want a more bespoke offering, just drop us an email at [email protected] and we can take it from there.

Site sponsor logos don't get hidden for subscribers, so every user of the site will be able to see your logo or banner. Sponsor logos are integrated into the layout of the page rather than imposed afterwards, so they don't disrupt the viewing experience. And, because we are only inviting sponsors from businesses offering relevant products or services, we hope that they will be a useful contribution to the content of the site.
