Flooding is possible . Little rain (10mm) has been recorded in the last week. 
The rate at which groundwater levels are rising in Denmead has started to slow. Water is flowing into the road and could affect the sewage network in operating as efficiently. From Thursday 26/02/2026 to Monday 02/03/2026, only small amounts of rain are expected in Hampshire. Groundwater levels in Denmead will begin to stabilise during the next week. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed .
