Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Groundwater levels in Denmead are high but slowly falling. At the borehole at Rookwood Farm, the level has fallen by 70cm in the last week. Water is expected to be affecting Anmore Road and Mill Close. High groundwater levels could affect the sewage network from operating as effectively. On Thursday 12/03/2026 into Friday 13/03/2026, between 15 and 20mm of rain is forecast to affect Hampshire. Drier weather is expected over the weekend. If heavy rain affects Denmead, ongoing flooding impacts will be prolonged. We are closely monitoring the situation. Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed. This message will be updated by 18:00 18/03/2026.
