Groundwater flooding in West Ilsley, East Ilsley, Compton, Chilton and West Hagbourne

Warning no longer in force

Groundwater levels are currently falling slowly at our Hodcott borehole near West Ilsley, East Ilsley and Compton. We expect levels to continue declining as we move through the summer, however the catchment remains sensitive to rainfall due to wetter than normal ground and high water levels may be prolonged if we receive further rainfall.
Please continue to go to the Thames: groundwater situation Report webpage for current information.
