High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 30 January 2026 . Heavy rain has fallen overnight and further rain is forecast throughout Friday. Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to remain high. Flooding to low lying land and roads close to the rivers is possible.The main areas of concern are Crediton, Newton St Cyres and Upton Hellions. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 30 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
