Higher than normal tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding across coastal frontages over the next few days
Flooding is possible between 5:00 AM and 7:45AM on Friday 20/09/2024.
Areas most at risk are coastal roads and footpaths in Hornsea.
We are closing flood gates and closely monitoring the situation. We expect this alert to remain in force for the AM tides for the next few days.
Be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
This message will be updated by 9:30 AM on 20/09/2024, or as the situation changes.
