River levels are beginning to drop, but will remain responsive to further rainfall. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for persistent rain and snow showers this morning, with more settled weather for later today and tomorrow. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message as necessary, and no later than 6pm on Saturday 16th January.
