Low lying properties in the Upper Hull catchment

Flood Warning

This flood warning remains in force due to high levels on the River Hull around Frodingham. Levels on the river Hull and adjacent drains are high due to rainfall over the last week. Further showers are expected over the weekend, but no significant rainfall is forecast. We expect the river level to fall slowly over the next few days. However, flooding to homes, businesses and outbuildings remains possible. As water levels have been high in this area for several weeks, river banks are likely to be wet and slippery. Therefore please avoid low lying footpaths near local watercourses, avoid walking on river banks and do not drive through floodwater. We are monitoring the situation closely. We will update this message in 8 hours, or as the situation changes. See the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast.

This information last updated 12:15am, Sunday 15th December.
