River levels are forecast to rise at the Lugwardine river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of roads and farmland is possible overnight and into tomorrow, 18/12/18. Flooding is affecting Low lying land and roads to the River Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 5 hours. We expect river levels to begin rising overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, and avoid using bridges over local watercourse, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 09:00 tomorrow, 19/12/18, or as the situation changes.
