Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 22nd January 2026. River levels are forecast to rise again this evening and overnight into tomorrow as a result of further rainfall. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River from Peterchurch to Rockfield. Other locations that may be affected include Eywas Harold and Grosmont.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
