This flood alert is no longer in force as river levels in the Upper Rother catchment have reduced significantly following yesterday’s heavy rainfall.
Whilst some rain is expected today, Tuesday 01/10/24, we do not expect levels to respond significantly. Weather conditions are expected to improve throughout Tuesday and no further significant rainfall is expected over the coming days.
Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We will continue to monitor the situation.
