Flood Warning

River levels have risen at the Leintwardine river gauge, as a result of heavy rainfall overnight Saturday and into Sunday, 23/02/20. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is forecast from Sunday afternoon and into Monday. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in Leintwardine and Walford including the A4113 at Leintwardine. Further heavy rainfall is forecast overnight and into Monday. We expect river levels to rise again on Monday, 24/02/20. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 3am Monday 24/02/20, or as the situation changes.
