High tides, strong winds and large waves this afternoon and into the evening may lead to flooding.
No property flooding is expected.
Flooding is possible from 8:00 PM on 30/03/2025.
Areas most at risk include the south bank of the River Ouse from Airmyn to Whitgift and the River Don and Dutch River from Thorne to Goole.
After the high tide this evening, the weather is more settled and no flooding is expected.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
This message will be updated by 8:00 AM on 31/03/2025, or as the situation changes.
