Persistent rainfall over the next few days is forecast to keep the river levels high and may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 22 January 2026. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Avon between Stanford and Rugby, River Swift between Cosford and Rugby and Clay Coton Brook between Yelvertoft and Lilbourne. We are closely monitoring the situation. We are clearing blockages from debris screens Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
