Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen on the Wendlebury Brook as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding (of property) is imminent in the next couple of hours. We have seen similar rainfall to July 2012. Further rainfall is forecast this morning. We expect river levels to continue rising for a few hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff will be out in the area later. Please move family, pets and valuables to safety and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated this afternoon, 14/11/2019, or as the situation changes.
