The Aldingbourne Rife is still higher than normal, but now slowly falling. High pressure, settled weather, and no rain is forecast for the next five days. Minor flood impacts affecting fields near Shripney Lane and the A259, parts of the Tesco car park on Shripney Road and land around caravans at Riverside Caravan Centre will continue to ease over the week ahead. Water levels will fall slowly, only twenty centimetres over the next five days. There is a suggestion that rain or showers could return next week. Please remain prepared, while river levels are higher than normal, and keep flood protection products ready as a precaution, if you have them. Our pumps at Felpham are running to reduce flood risk. We will re-issue this Flood Alert if property flooding is possible.
