A Flood Alert has been issued for Caithness and Sutherland.
In western parts of the region, minor impacts from surface water and river flooding are likely from Sunday afternoon through to Monday morning due to a period of heavy and persistent rainfall.Potential impacts include flooding of low-lying land and roads, disruption to travel and transport networks and localised property flooding.
