A FLOOD ALERT UPDATE has been issued for Caithness and Sutherland.
This Flood Alert is for coastal flood risk. On Thursday and Friday, strong south easterly or easterly winds will affect eastern facing coastal areas. This will coincide with Spring tides and there is potential for localised spray and wave overtopping to affect low-lying roads or promenades. SEPA will continue to monitor the situation and further updates will appear here if the situation changes.
