East and West Fens

Warning no longer in force

The risk of flooding from the East and West Fens has now reduced and levels have fallen below levels of concern. No further flooding to fields and roads is expected, however, there may be standing water seen for several days. Flood water from the River Steeping is being pumped through the Internal Drainage Board water courses but we do not expect this to cause flooding. We are closely monitoring the forecast for the coming days and will re-issue any flood alerts or warnings as appropriate.
