The unsettled weather which brought strong winds, large waves and elevated tide levels across the Isle of Wight has now cleared the area. This morning’s tide at Cowes (10:00 on 28/01/2025) came in 9cm below forecast. Wind, wave and tide levels are now reducing. This evening’s tide at Cowes at 22:30 on 28/01/2025 is forecast to be around 20cm lower than this morning’s tide. No further flooding impacts are expected. We continue to monitor the forecast.
