River levels are starting to fall but remain high on the Lower Colne due to recent heavy rainfall caused by Storm Darragh.
Flooding to low lying land and roads may continue to affect locations near the River Colne, Frays, Wraysbury, Poyle Channel, Staines Moor and Longford today, Tuesday 10th December. No flooding to property is expected.
The forecast for the coming 3 days is mostly dry with no heavy rain but the levels on the Lower River Colne are expected to remain high for several days.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 10am on Wednesday 11th December, or sooner if the situation changes.
