Frequent heavy showers will affect most areas during Tuesday morning becoming drier into the afternoon. From the early hours of Wednesday morning a band of rain will bring a spell of heavy rain. Catchments are extremely wet and river levels will react to any further rainfall. River levels will remain high throughout Tuesday, but are not expected to affect properties in this area. River levels will rise once again during Wednesday morning. Flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river is still likely. A Flood Alert remains in place for the River Axe Area Take care near the areas of concern and monitor your local weather conditions. We are constantly monitoring river levels and have staff checking for blockages in this location. Further Flood Warnings will be issued, if required.
