River levels are high on the River Kennet from Newbury down to Reading. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today, 4 March 2026, including in the Newbury and Calcot areas. The forecast is to remain dry today and for the next few days. Levels are high but stable. We expect levels to decrease over the coming days.
