River levels are high on the River Pang following recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. River levels on the Sulham Brook have now dropped below the flood risk threshold. Flooding of low lying land and roads along the Pang remains possible over the coming days.
The forecast today, 19/04/2024, is mainly dry with a few light scattered showers possible, clearing to leave a dry day Saturday. River levels on the Pang are expected to remain high over the coming days and are sensitive to further rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
