River levels are forecast to continue rising at the Saxons Lode river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding (of property) is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect property at Hanley Road, Upton upon Severn. Hanley Road Closes. Predicted Peak:- Saxons Lode 5.0m to 5.4m on Saturday morning, 23/01/21. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next 48 hours, but river levels are expected to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 6pm Friday 22/01/21, or as the situation changes.
