Flood Warning

River levels have risen at the Bewdley river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue today, 16/02/20. Flooding is affecting Riverside North including the road to Lickhill Manor and Acacia Avenue, Bewdley. The access road to Lickhill Caravan Park and the Walkway. Property and gardens flood at Severnside, Stourport. Predicted Peak:- Bewdley 4.7m to 5.1m this evening. Further scattered showers are forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 3am on 17/02/20 or as the situation changes.
