Flood warning

River levels remain high but are falling at the Bridgnorth river gauge following last weeks heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Upper Arley. Peak: Bridgnorth peaked at 5.15m on Saturday morning, 23/01/21. No significant rain is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services. Please avoid contact with flood water and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 10am on Monday, 25/01/21, or as the situation changes.
