High tides today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 12am to 2am 23/01/2026 and from 12pm to 2pm on 23/01/2026. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the Estuary from Sandhurst to Chepstow and Sharpness over the next few days. Some lengths of the flood embankment at Longney and The Noards may be overtopped. Rodley Lane, Westbury and Awre Road, Brims Pill may be flooded. Predicted peaks: Sandhurst 3.3m to 3.6m at 00:15am 23/01 and 3.3m to 3.6m at 12:30pm 23/01. We are not currently expecting flooding at other gauge locations. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid coastal roads and low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 2:00PM on 23 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
