Flooding is possible for ALL high tides from Wednesday morning to Saturday morning inclusive. Times of high water will vary along the coast. This sequence of Flood Alerts has been issued due to exceptionally high Spring Tides combined with large waves. Minor localised flooding is possible including Commercial Road (Penryn), Trefusis Road (Flushing), the A39 at Perranarworthal and the A390 at Tresillian. Winds are generally expected from a South Easterly direction and to remain below Force 6. People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast. From Saturday morning, the Spring Tide levels fall away and no further flooding is expected. In the meantime, keep up to date with weather and tide conditions on local radio. We will continue to monitor the situation and issue updates as required.
