This Flood Alert has been removed. The rivers have peaked and fallen back below alert thresholds. We shall continue to monitor the forecast with further showery rain forecast on Sunday, but it may not necessitate re-issuing this alert. Our incident response staff continue to monitor the situation, check and clear debris from weed screens. Flood photos and reports of the effect of Storm Christoph can be sent to [email protected] Please plan your routes to avoid low lying roads and paths near rivers which may be flooded. Refer to local authority website for local road closures. And also take care as the weather turns colder and any remaining water on roads may turn to ice.
