Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides and forecast weather conditions tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 07:00 to 09:00 on Thursday 23 October.
We may see water on Beach Road at Cley, and Beach Road at Salthouse, and footpaths in the marshes may also become inaccessible. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at Wells of 3.52 mAODN at 8:00am tomorrow, Thursday 23 October, which is 0.68m above tide tables, Wind Force 3, Easterly. Tides are expected to be higher than usual, due to the forecast weather conditions during spring tides.
We are closing locks and flood gates .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
