Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are continuing to steadily rise at the Roxton (Tempsford) gauge in response to recent rainfall. Flooding is expected the next few hours and into this evening, 09/01/2025. Areas most at risk are Wyboston Lakes, School Lane in Eaton Socon, Hardwick Road and Springbrook in Eynesbury, The Paddock and Crosshall Road in Eaton Ford and River Terrace, Priory Lane, Chandlers Wharf, Brook Street, Church Street and Browns Square in St Neots.
The weather forecast is for no significant rainfall over the next 5 days, which will allow river levels to start returning to normal soon. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We will continue to monitor the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow 10/01/2025.
