High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected when river levels are at their highest from 09:00AM on 21/09/2025.
We expect river levels to drop back below the river warning threshold at 02:30PM on 21/09/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Sankey Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties along the River Weaver Navigation and River Dane.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
