Warning. Flooding is expected in Ayr to Troon. Act now.
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties along the coastline from Ayr to Troon. Flooding in and around low-lying parts of Troon, Prestwick Links Road and Ayr Seafield is possible. Wave overtopping is expected to affect low lying areas. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide between 21:00 BST on Saturday 24th and 03:00 hours GMT on Sunday 25th October.
