This flood warning has been issued as river levels have risen rapidly due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in the area on Saturday 08/07/2023. Further heavy showers are forecast during Saturday and Sunday. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid roads near rivers which may be flooded. Consider putting your flood plan into action and check weather forecasts and local water levels. This message will be updated by 07:40 on Sunday 09/07/2023, or as the situation changes.
