Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Hucknall Annesley Road river gauge as a result of Storm BABET. Consequently, flooding of property is expected from 15:00 today, 20/10/23. Areas most at risk are Greenwood Avenue, Washdyke Road and Thoresby Dale. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services. Please avoid contact with flood water and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
This message will be updated by 19:30 this afternoon on 20/10/23, or as the situation changes.
