Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen rapidly as a result of localised thunderstorms. Consequently, flooding could occur imminently on Sunday 18th June, but there is low confidence given the unpredictable nature of thunderstorms. Areas most at risk are around Batley Beck
Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation and the forecast and are checking defences and trash screens. .
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and prepare to put your flood plan into action.
