Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding throughout the afternoon and into this evening, Monday 29th September 2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bessy Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties along Sudbury Drive and parts of Rumworth Road and Regent Road.
We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
