River levels are still high on the Black Ditch, but have now peaked and will gradually fall through Lyminster, after Storm Dennis's widespread heavy rain. Flood impacts will ease, but may continue to affect fields, gardens and roads until river levels fall further. Please continue to take care in and around flood affected areas, flood water can contain hidden dangers. Rain has now cleared, and only isolated showers are expected until Thursday 20/2/2020. These showers are unlikely to cause river levels to rise significantly, if at all, but river levels may not return to normal until Thursday 20/2/2020. If you see a blockage affecting the river, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60. We will continue to monitor the levels and forecast and will re-issue messages if the risk of flooding increases.
